Clarets striker Gareth Taylor, should be fit to face the Dons despite picking up an ankle injury at Hillsborough at the weekend, is looking forward to facing his former employers Manchester City at Turf Moor on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27.
Taylor opened his account for the season with a well-placed 57th minute header in the 2-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday and is chomping at the bit to get at his old colleagues.
"I'm looking forward to that game," enthused Taylor. "They looked impressive in their first game against Watford, so it'll be a good test for the lads.
"There will be a full house and it will be a great atmosphere."
