WALSHAW beat the weather and the opposition for the second successive week to gain maximum points when they travelled to Golborne.
Walshaw won the toss and invited Golborne to bat and, after dodging the showers, the home side had scored 170 for seven at the interval.
Liam Riley was the pick of the Walshaw bowlers with figures of three for 27.
After losing 12 overs because of the weather, the Walshaw batsmen set about their task in determined mood, with Bret Collins and Jon Fielding leading the way, hitting 43 and 42 respectively.
They were ably backed up by the other members of the team and Walshaw reached the required total for the loss of six wickets with five overs to spare.
Walshaw's Man of the Match award went to Liam Riley.
