WHEN Jackie Howley wanted a job, pop star Mel C helped out with a £2,000 designer outfit.
After years of rejection the 32-year-old Liverpudlian heard about a new scheme to get women back to work -- including clothes and a makeover.
Jackie chose a grey trouser suit from a collection donated by celebs including Cherie Blair, Joanna Lumley and Victoria Wood -- and it contained a go for it good luck message from the Spice Girl.
Armed with a trendy haircut, the new-look more confident Jackie got her job in a cafe. Details of the scheme are available at Job Centres. I'd have to hope Vanessa Feltz had contributed some of her old stuff!
