TENANTS of former council houses in Burnley had their say in how things are run at the first tenants' conference organised by Burnley and Padiham Community Housing which took over the borough's former council estates.
Tenants and group representatives were welcomed to Turf Moor by chief executive Ian Saville and chairman Wynn McGeorge.
The event included workshops covering a wide range of issues including tenants having a greater voice through the tenant participation compact.
Others were on regeneration, repairs, choice based lettings in which it is hoped that tenants will get a greater opportunity to pick where they live and a workshop covering anti-social behaviour issues.
