AROUND £200 in cash was stolen during an armed raid on a Prestwich bookies.
Two masked men burst into the Tote boomakers in the Longfield Precinct at 3.55pm on Saturday (Aug 18).
One of the raiders produced a handgun, which he used to threaten staff, and grabbed the money from a till.
The thieves escaped in a Hyundai car which had been stolen from the Blackley area two hours earlier. No one was injured during the robbery.
