A 40-YEAR-OLD woman, Beverley Whitney, was found dead at her home in Back Burnley Road, Bacup, on Monday morning.
Detective Inspector Tony Bolton said: "She had seen a neighbour earlier and asked to borrow some vinegar and when he went round to her flat about an hour later he found her dead and tried to resuscitate her.
"There were no suspicious circumstances. She may have taken an overdose of drugs."
East Lancashire coroner David Smith has been informed.
