THE University of Central Lancashire is pledging to help new students stay out of debt by offering a service to help them find work.
The Bridge Employment Service, based at the Preston university, aims to make life easier by helping find student-sensitive employers.
Alison Hughes, manager of The Bridge, said: "It is very difficult for new students to survive at university these days without a job of some kind.
"The Bridge is a service that helps students find employment that will have a minimal effect on their studies and might even help to make them more employable when they graduate."
