GARDEN furniture, hanging baskets and flowers were donated by B&Q to brighten up the Wish Centre in Cardwell Place, Blackburn.
The centre, run by the local branch of the Women's Aid charity, provides information, self help and support to the victims of domestic violence.
Workers at the centre asked Blackburn Partnership, the business-led group which promotes social and economic regeneration in the area, for help.
It suggested the good cause to B&Q, Blackburn, for one of its Better Neighbour Grants, which it makes four times a year.
