A RADCLIFFE family, including three young children, fled their home after a petrol bomb was thrown at their front door.
The attacked happened at Netley Gardens at 10.30pm on Saturday (Aug 18).
A milk bottle filled with petrol was flung at the door but it smashed and burst into flames on the door step.
The occupants of the house, a husband and wife and their three children aged, four, eight and eleven, fled to a neighbour's house as firefighters raced to the scene to deal with the flames. Very little damage was caused to house.
Police have so far been unable to establish any motive for the petrol bomb attack.
