MOTORCYCLISTS are invited to drive a new route and stay safe on the road.
Bury and District Motorcycle Training (BDMT) centre is holding its 12th annual Robert Peel Road Safety Trial on Sunday September 9.
It takes place from 9.45am to 4pm at the Higher Lane adult education centre in Whitefield.
The trial, held in conjunction with Bury Road Safety Unit, teaches people to ride to good standards. Drivers can take part in a range of fun tests, and are then given a road route of about 50 miles to travel. Marshalls will lie in wait at various points to award marks, and there are prizes for those with the most points, in a range of classes.
