QUEEN'S Guides from Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich are being sought to take part in a celebration of the Queen's Golden Jubilee next year.
The Guide Association established the Queen's Guide Award in 1947 as the ultimate award for members.
And it is trying to bring together every woman that has received the prestigious award between 1947 and 2001.
Mrs Linda Fogg, a Guider with the 5th Whitefield (Stand Church) Brownies, said: "As many of the women will now be living in different areas from when they gained the award and others will have changed surname, the task is a challenging one but we know we can do it."
If you are a Queen's Guide you can contact the Guide Association on 02078 346242 or freephone 0800 1695901. Alternatively, e-mail them at queensguide@guides.org.uk.
