A 40-YEAR man became the latest victim of violent robbery in Blackpool when a trio of teenagers struck on a quiet section of the sea front.
The attack happened at 12.45pm on Tuesday, August 7, when the man was walking along Middle Walk, North Promenade.
He was pounced on without warning by three youths who kicked and punched him to the floor before stealing his wallet.
They ran away when a passer-by intervened. The three culprits are white in their late teens and were wearing baseball caps.
A TERRIFIED 24-year-old woman was indecently assaulted by a man who grabbed her from behind as she walked home late on Monday, July 9.
The sex attacker struck in St Annes Road West, Lytham St Annes, at 11.40pm where he touched her chest. He was Asian and spoke with a foreign accent, was in his early 30s and was wearing dark clothing.
THIEVES got away with food valued at nearly £4,000 when they raided storage containers at a supermarket in Anchorage Road, Fleetwood, between 3pm on Thursday, August 2, and 8.15pm on Sunday, August 5.
The haul included 24 cases of Weetabix and 12 cases of Nescafe.
The get-away vehicle is thought to be a white or beige three-and-a-half-tonne box van with "Affordable Van Hire" in red lettering on the side.
KEYS stolen from a house in St Johns Street, Lytham St Annes, between 4pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday, August 8, were later used during the attempted theft of a car. A handbag was taken before the thieves, who were white and aged 17 or 18, were disturbed.
