A RAIDER who struck at a church and at the same school twice, is facing jail after being found guilty of three burglaries.
Derek Connolly, 36, of Mersey Avenue, Darwen, had an extensive record, with 33 convictions for dishonesty, including the "occasional," burglary, Burnley Crown Court heard.
Connolly was bailed until September 25, for a pre-sentence report, and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court
Judge Barbara Watson told him prison was inevitable and in the meantime, he must live and sleep at his home address, observe a 10pm to 7am curfew and co-operate with the probation service.
The court heard how the defendant struck at St Chads Church Hall, Darwen, and twice at St Edwards Primary School in the town.
