DUNCAN Lees , general manager of Warburtons' Burnley bakery, has discovered a new zest to his working day after taking delivery of a mini-mountain of fresh fruit.
Oranges are the latest ingredient to appear in a loaf of Warburtons bread. The company's new fruit loaf with orange, and its raisin loaf with cinnamon, are now available in supermarkets, priced at 99p.
The loaves, which are ready sliced, are delicious popped in a toaster and served with butter. They make a substantial alternative to toast for breakfast but can also be enjoyed as an afternoon snack or packed into a lunchbox.
Fruited loaves follow Warburtons' other recent launches -- hot cross bun loaf, aromatic garlic herb bake and share bread and honey and sunflower rolls.
