MERE Park pub, on Preston Old Road, is hosting a fun-day for all the family on Sunday, August 26. The event will run from noon to 7pm and will feature a bungi run and various stalls.
BLACKPOOL'S branch of the Merchant Navy Association is holding its annual general meeting this Sunday, August 26, at 11am in The Guards Club on Whitegate Drive. All ex-merchant navy members are welcome.

BOOTH'S supermarket on Highfield Road, Marton, is hosting a fun-day this Sunday, August 26, between 10am and 4pm. Activities will include a children's fancy dress competition -- to be judged by Bob the Builder -- and a live broadcast by Lionel Vinyl. All proceeds will go to Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice.
QUAD bikes and bouncy castles will be among many activities on offer at the Welcome Inn, on Vicarage Lane, this Saturday, August 25, between noon and 6pm. The fun day will also feature a competition to win a mountain bike, and entertainment from Captain Chaos.
