A 33-YEAR-OLD Morecambe man ended his stag night in the cells at Blackburn police station.
The town's magistrates heard Richard Mark Worthington became abusive when he was refused admission to Utopia nightclub because of his drunken condition.
And when police officers tried to calm him down he started swearing at them.
Worthington, of Balmoral Avenue, Morecambe, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for six months.
A charge of being drunk and disorderly was withdrawn.
Michael Blacklidge, defending, said Worthington is due to be married on Friday and on the day of his stag do about 20 of his friends had left Morecambe by coach at about 5pm.
"They were drinking in a number of town centre pubs in Blackburn and by the end of that period of the evening his recollections are rather hazy," said Mr Blacklidge.
"He's not sure if the drinks with which he was being plied were being mixed specially for him.
