JOURNAL photographer Colin Lyne is heading for the clone zone big time -- as a Sven Goran Eriksson lookalike.
He has me to thank for his latest TV appearance on Stars and Their Doubles 2001 last week.
I spotted an invitation for copycats to compete in the one-off special and handed it over the Colin to sign up, sure that he could play a part as the England coach's double.
As a result, he had the time of his life filming at LWT, with a host of other spitting images, and was spotted three times on the box.
He also met Des O, who hosted the show, along with Pavarotti, Ali G, Del Boy, and a host of others.
That's not the end of it though. He has now filmed as promo for Sky Sports for the England-Germany match.
It's not bad finding new fame, though not yet fortune, in your 50s. There's hope for us all yet.
He didn't make it in to the finals of each category, but the problem is that Colin is new to the game -- the winners were first-class professionals, with years of experience.
They should have had sections for newcomers.
I just hope he doesn't forget me when he makes the big bucks!
