LEIGH RMI have run into a major goalkeeping crisis ahead of Saturday's crucial trip to Margate.
With RMI picking up just a single point in their first two Nationwide Conference games, manager Steve Waywell finds himself with two keepers injured and a third away on international duty.
Veteran stopper Dave Felgate damaged a hamstring in the 2-0 defeat at Doncaster on Tuesday; understudy Mark Westhead is out for about three weeks with a shoulder injury while Craig Dootson is in China with the British Universities squad.
To add to RMI's injury woes, centre-back Iain Swan fractured his ankle in the first two minutes at Doncaster and faces 6-8 weeks on the sidelines.
Waywell will need a head count before RMI travel to the south coast for the clash against newly-promoted Margate - last season's Ryman's League champions.
Winless RMI, who have only found the net once in two games, not only face a tiring trip south but must back up again 48 hours later when Northwich Vics are the visitors to Hilton Park on Bank Holiday Monday, kick off 3pm.
