READ captain Nick Marsh reckons there is a twist or two yet to come from the Ribblesdale League title race this season.
With just two games left to play after today's games, things are tight at the top and they could get even tighter if Read, in second place, topple leaders Cherry Tree, who are 10 points in front, tomorrow.
But Marsh knows the game will only be of importance if his side can get a win from today's game against Edenfield.
"We are two wins behind Cherry Tree so, with only three games left to play after today, it could be virtually all over by the time we play Cherry Tree tomorrow.
"But I don't think it will be. I think there will be a few more twists and turns and I think it will go down to the last game of the season.
"Obviously we need to beat Cherry Tree on Sunday as long as we beat Edenfield as well.
"We have a nice record against Cherry Tree in the league but we will be going there and giving them the utmost respect."
Read beat tomorrow's opponents by 50 runs at Whalley Road earlier in the season.
"We beat them quite comfortably but they beat us in the Ramsbottom Cup last year and I am sure they will want to beat us again."
After two weeks of washouts, Marsh is looking forward to completing a game.
"We just want to finish a game," he said. "We have lost seven games to the weather this season and they are games where we had put ourselves in a position to win.
"Last week against Baxenden we had them all out for 114 but didn't bat so we only got two points.
"We would be top if the games we've had called off hadn't been called off.
"We have had by far the most games lost, and when we have lost games to the weather others have won, they haven't had their games called off.
"I think losing seven games in unprecedented."
But with 14 points up for grabs - weather permitting - after this weekend's games, Marsh knows anything can happen.
With all the top teams playing each other on the final day - Barnoldswick play Read, Blackburn Northern face Earby and Cherry Tree play Baxenden - things could change at the top right up until the last few minutes of the season.
"I think there will be a couple of twists and turns before the season ends," said Marsh.
"All the top teams are playing each other and we are confident we will be there or there abouts at the end of it.
"I am not going to say anything stupid but it is in the team's hands. If we win four games out of four we will win the title."
Fixtures: Blackburn Northern v Padiham, Cherry Tree v Read, Clitheroe v Earby, Great Harwood v Ribblesdale Wanderers, Oswaldtwistle v Baxenden, Settle v Edenfield, Whalley v Barnoldswick
