AN impromptu drink with friends ended with William Henderson being arrested.
Blackburn magistrates heard the divorcee was waiting for a train when he bumped into some friends. Defence solicitor Michael Blacklidge said that after drinking Aftershock in the Boulevard pub the details of what had happened afterwards had come as a shock to his client.
Henderson, 44, of Devon Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty being drunk and disorderly and was fined £40 with £55 costs. Wendy Shackleton, prosecuting, said Henderson had been ordered to leave the pub by police officers but returned shortly after and was seen stood in the entrance punching the walls.
