REGULARS at The Flowers Inn, in Bacup, dug deep in their pockets during a family fun day and raised around £700 for Rossendale Hospice.
Landlord Gerry Blakely and regulars John Crook and Ron Williams even went to the extent of shaving their hair off to help out the charity, raising £200 between them.
The rest of the money was collected during the day through attractions such as a bouncy castle, tombola, guess the weight of the cake and various stalls, as well as a raffle with a first prize of a DVD Player.
Landlady Trisha Blakely said: "We've only been about nine months so it is the first time we've done something like this but we will definitely do it again."
