REGULARS at the Hare and Hounds, Stacksteads, went on a pub crawl with a difference to raise funds for a young cancer sufferer.
Robyn Brookes, five, lives in Rochdale with her mother and father but needs to travel to America for vital treatment for Neuro Blastoma so licensee Steven Powell organised a weekend of fundraising for the brave youngster.
More than 70 people joined a horse and cart fun pub crawl, following Steven and collecting donations on their journey and five men and one brave woman were sponsored to have their heads shaved.
Steven said: "The pub crawl alone raised £510 so we will have raised more than £2,000 when all the sponsorship comes in and other money.
"Robyn is such a sweet little kiddie and she only lives up the road so we decided we would like to help out."
