The competition will aim to recognise and reward flair, enterprise and business achievement as well as initiatives to improve training and individual development for both employees and employers.
The awards will be structured to spotlight individual people who make a real difference to the success of their business and individual companies which are the driving force behind the resilience of the East Lancashire economy.
They will promote the importance of business and industry in generating wealth and jobs in the local community.
They will also celebrate the success of enterprise in all its forms - from one-person start-up businesses to fast-track growth companies.
