POLICE have made a new appeal to try and find a missing student.
Mark Hughes, aged 19, has still not made contact with his family, almost two weeks since he was last seen getting on a tram at Heaton Park Metrolink station.
Police said it is unusual for the teenager to go missing and he did not leave a note.
No money has been taken from his bank account and he has not taken his passport.
His family live on Pinfold Lane, but he had been sharing a flat with three students in Fallowfield and was due to start a psychology course at Manchester Metropolitan University in September.
Mark is slim, 6ft 2 ins, with auburn hair. He has Chinese lettering on the right side of his chest and a Celtic design on his arm.
He went missing on Thursday, August 16.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts can call Whitefield police on 0161 856 8050. MISSING: Mark Hughes
