IT'S about 10am on a Sunday morning. The roads are quiet, the sun is shining through the clouds and birds are singing. But there's a somewhat strange quiet. There are no church bells ringing at all.
Where have they all gone? No wonder so few people go to church these days -- they probably think they have all closed down.
I hope sometime the bells will come back to remind us of this rest day and holy day.
