A DRUNKEN woman hit her husband in front of police and then invited officers to lock her up.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Donna Isaac, 31, had made allegations about her partner, wanted him removed from their home -- but didn't appear to give officers a reason why.
Isaac, of Bradshaw Street, Nelson, admitted breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £50 for 12 months. An allegation of being drunk and disorderly was withdrawn.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said police were called to a dispute.
The defendant was drunk, swearing and acting irrationally. She hit her husband, urged officers to lock her up and continued to be abusive.
Mark Irlam, defending, said Isaac had had an altercation with her second husband and a row spilled over into the street. She had spent 12 hours in custody.
