GARDENERS in the Rossendale area are being urged to show off their horticultural skills at the Rawtenstall, Edgeside and District Amateur Gardeners Society Show.
Society secretary for the past 14 years Dawn Taylor said: "We would like new exhibitors to come along and take part.
"It's good fun and a chance to compare your garden products with others."
The 86th annual show will be held in the Unitarian Church, Bank Street, Rawtenstall, on Saturday.
There will be classes for flowers, fruit and vegetables, handicrafts, cookery and floral art.
Local youngsters are being particularly encouraged to submit entries for the children's section. Exhibits need to be staged between 8am and noon.
Doors will be open to the public between 2pm and 5pm with the presentation of trophies by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rossendale, Coun Jim Grogan and his wife Lois, at 4.30pm. Anyone interested and wanting more information can contact Dawn on 01706 211272.
