A MAN who was three times the legal drink drive limit travelled on the wrong side of the road before colliding with another vehicle.
Blackburn magistrates heard that the driver of the other car was driving along Whitebirk Road, near its junction with Hereford Road, when he saw Keith Latham's Vauxhall Cavalier coming towards him. The other man braked hard but there was a collision.
Latham, 33, of Pemberton House, Roe Lee industrial estate, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, without a licence and without insurance.
The magistrates adjourned the case for the preparation of pre-sentence reports after hearing that Latham was twice convicted of drink driving in 1994.
