AGE Concern Blackburn with Darwen is offering older people the chance to make a will.
As part of this year's Age Concern Week activities the charity has joined forces with Roebuck's Solicitors in Blackburn and Watson's Solicitors in Darwen to offer will-making surgeries to anyone aged over 55.
The surgeries are to be held as part of an Ageing Well event to be held on October 3 at King George's Hall in Blackburn and at Derwent Hall in Darwen on October 5.
Older people will be able to see a qualified solicitor who will take instructions for their will and offer advice. The service will cost £25 per will.
Age Concern's information services manager, Vicky Shepherd said: "If a person dies without having made a will it can make things more difficult for their affairs to be sorted out and may mean their wishes are not carried out as they would have liked."
Appointments must be made as numbers are limited.
For further details and to book an appointment contact the Advice and Information Services, 4 King Street, Blackburn, 01254 266620, and 11 Union Street, Darwen, 01254 773440.
