POLICE are anxious to trace two drivers who ran from the scene of a three-car accident in Radcliffe late on Wednesday (Aug 29).
Three occupants in one of the cars, a Vauxhall Astra, were treated for their injuries at Bury General Hospital but were not detained.
The drivers of a Volkswagen Corrado and a Rover Coupe, which were involved in the accident at Radcliffe Moor Road near Claydon Drive, ran off before police arrived.
Police say the Corrado was in collision with the Rover before colliding with the Astra, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
Astra driver Marlene Deakin (53), of East Street, Radcliffe, suffered back pain and bruising.
Two passengers in the same car were also injured. They were Patricia Hulton (59), of Belgrave Street, and John Rowley (57), of Osborne Walk, both Radcliffe.
Now, police are anxious to trace the other drivers. Anyone with information about the accident, which happened at 10pm, are asked to contact Bury police divisional traffic unit on 856 8072.
