"I'M gonna live forever!" So sang the youngsters of Starstruck Theatre Company as they performed the musical Fame.
It was the first production from the drama workshop which was set up in February, and it looks like there are many more to come.
And pictured are the young cast who tread the boards with confidence and enthusiasm.
The colourful American show was performed at Our Lady Of Grace church hall in Prestwich, where the group meets on Thursday nights. It came together during a "summer school" with Starstruck founder Kim Connor, who teaches music and singing, Chris Juster (drama teacher), and Phil Carroll (choreographer). And Kim says she is about to open a second workshop on Wednesday nights in Whitefield. It opens on September 5 at St Michael's church hall in Ribble Drive, with groups for different age ranges.
The society's next show is another US-inspired musical called Grease-ish, to be held at St Monica's in September.
