DARWEN manager Steve Wilkes is suspended from his side's FA Cup Preliminary Round match at Liversedge tomorrow - and he doesn't even know why!
The fiery boss of the NWCL Division Two side found out on Tuesday that he couldn't play in the game against the Northern Counties East Premier Division team.
He said: "I must have got sent off from the dug-out sometime at the end of last season but I can't remember it."
Jimmy Khan is doubtful with a pulled calf and Matt Atkinson is still serving his lengthy ban.
Darwen have lost two and drawn one this season and Wilkes hopes that is a good sign.
"We usually have a good start and tail off toward the end so hopefully we can get a bad start out of the way and the do well," he said.
