CHERRY TREE go into tomorrow's Jennings Ribblesdale League clash with Whalley with the champagne on ice.
They are nine points ahead of rivals Great Harwood and 13 ahead of third placed Baxenden.
A maximum return against struggling Whalley will ensure the title heads to Preston Old Road.
Harwood face a tough trip to long time pacesetters Read, who have now slipped down to fifth place, while Baxenden are at Settle.
Last weekend's double header put Cherry Tree firmly in the driving seat with a 52-run victory over Read, who were then in second place.
Tomorrow's fixtures (wp 1.30pm): Barnoldswick v Padiham, Cherry Tree v Whalley, Edenfield v Clitheroe, Oswaldtwistle Immanuel v Blackburn Northern, Read v Great Harwood, Ribblesdale Wanderers v Earby, Settle v Baxenden.
