BLACKPOOL and the Fylde College is gambling that a new course beginning this September will hit the jackpot.
The BA (Hons) course in leisure, events and entertainment management, validated by Lancaster University, is one of the first courses of its type and aims to examine the concept of leisure from a management perspective.
"We feel that there is a strong market for this type of course," said David Thorley, course leader.
He added: "It is one of the first courses of its type and we feel that it is the right place and the right time for a course such as this."
Applications from candidates with non-standard entry qualifications and mature students are welcome. For more information telephone 352352.
