NURSERY tots are resting their tiny feet after a trek to raise money for Cancer Research.
Members of the Rainbow Nursery put on their walking shoes to complete three circuits around their nursery in Barley Bank Street, Darwen.
Each had to raise a minimum of £10 in order to receive a Beanie puppy.
Deputy manager Michelle Edmonson also took part, along with seven other staff.
She said: "Altogether, 28 children took part in the walk which helped raise quite a considerable amount for our chosen charity.
"The children had been looking forward to the walk all week."
Nursery manager Jill Ramsbotton, whose task is to collect the sponsorship money from children and staff, said: "We haven't counted how much was raised yet but I am expecting it to be in excess of £300."
