APPLICATIONS are invited from the local community for people interested in becoming directors of the Stacksteads Riverside Park Group Limited.
It is the business arm of the group which aims to improve facilities for the local community.
The Board of Directors will deal initially with the running of the drop-in centre and eventually the planned community centre.
Applicants will need to be fully involved and be prepared to attend regular meetings.
Group chairman Coun Michael McShea said: "People with professional or management skills or experience within the business world would be especially welcome.
"But anyone wishing to be involved will be fully trained."
