A PREGNANT woman went into labour after a thief snatched her handbag on August 20 at 12.05pm.
It is thought that the incident brought the labour on.
It occurred as she was walking in an alleyway at the rear of shops on Layton Road, Blackpool.
Her assailant is described as a scruffy looking white male wearing tatty jeans and jacket. He was 5ft 8ins tall and it is believed he could be homeless.
A VERBAL argument between two girls in a town centre pub violently escalated leading to one of the girls smashing a bottle over the other's head.
The incident occurred at 10.40pm on August 18 in Cahoots bar on Market Street. T
he victim is a 28-year old local and had never seen the girl before.
The attacker is described as being white and in her mid 20s. She was of a slim build and had shoulder length blonde hair.
She was wearing a black cropped top, black mini-skirt and black knee-high boots.
TWO men threw a 36-year-old woman to the ground as they attempted to steal her purse on Simpson Street, Blackpool.
The lady was attacked from behind as she was leaving an amusement arcade. As one of the thieves held her down, the other tried to prise her purse from her grasp.
They were unsuccessful in their attempt and made-off. It occurred at 7.20pm on August 16.
Both assailants were white males. One is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build with a podgy face.
He had dark hair and wore a baseball cap. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and trainers.
The other was aged 16 to 17 years and 5ft 4ins in height. He was of slim stature with pointy features and blond hair. He wore dark blue jeans and a dark jacket zipped to the top.
A THIEF approached an 88-year-old lady from behind and stole her handbag, which he proceeded to run off with.
It happened on August 17 at 4pm as the lady was walking along All Saints Road, Bispham.
The thief was seen getting into a dark blue car that made off towards Cleveleys. He is described as a white male wearing a beige sleeved top.
