BACUP travel to Guisborough Town in the FA Cup Preliminary Round but boss Brent Peters says his players will want to win for glory rather than money.
There is a £1,000 cheque on offer for the visitors but Peters says that is little incentive.
"The money aspect is there but we want to win because we want to win not because there is £1,000 on offer.
"But it is nice to know that for non-League clubs like Bacup Borough every time they progress there is a nice little bonus.
"Clubs like ours need that but it won't change my feelings, we'll go up there with the same attitude."
Peters admits he knows very little about the opposition.
He has been unable to travel to the North East to watch the Albany Northern League Division One side.
"I like to watch the opposition before we play them but I don't know anything about Guisborough.
"All I know is they got beat on Saturday.
"I'm not a believer in changing tactics for home and away games anyway.
"We want them to worry about us. We will play our normal game and normal system and have a go."
Bacup, who have won two and lost one of their three league games this season, are sweating over Wayne McKenzie (hamstring) but Mark Hall is hoping to be back in contention after sitting out the 4-2 win over Cheadle in midweek with work commitments.
