A CLASSIC car cavalcade from Helmshore to Burnley on Sunday, September 9, will celebrate European Heritage Weekend.
Included in the 50-strong line-up will be a 1914 Model T Ford Tourer and a 1929 Rolls Royce, once owned by a tutor to Prince Charles.
The annual cavalcade will gather from 9.30am at Helmshore Textile Museums, in Holcombe Road and be on show to the public before setting off for Rawtenstall at 12.15pm.
The vehicle owners will visit the Weavers' Cottage and then travel on to Towneley Hall, in Burnley, via Queen Street Mill and the Weavers' Triangle.
Helmshore Textile Museums will be open from 10am with free admission until 1pm and with mule spinning and waterwheel demonstrations.
The popular Bringing History Alive role players will be on site from 1pm to add to the day's entertainment.
Details of the route are available from the museum on 01706 226459.
