COTTON is not what it used to be, neither are my eyes.
Threading a needle becomes more and more frustrating. The older I get, the more it becomes a mammoth task -- and modern cotton doesn't help. It ends up in knots and breaks, so the needle needs more repeated threading.
British cotton never used to do that. It's not just me is it?
