STUDENTS at Westholme School in Blackburn are to return to school early to take part in a variety of unusual activties.
Pupils were back at the school, in Preston New Road, on Friday for courses including car maintenance, cooking on a budget and domestic syrvival skills.
There was also the chance to take part in a mock up of a Magistrates' Court session and taster courses in sign language and first aid.
Pupils not taking part in the activities will return to the school for the official start of term on Wednesday, September 5.
