MORE than 700 students and staff, many in fancy dress, took part in a fun run at Towneley High School, Burnley.
The annual event is held to raise funds for the school and involves completing a five miles course in Towneley Park and woods.
New head of physical education Alison Hodgson said about half of those taking part were in fancy dress including Emma O'Horo who was dressed as a beautiful butterfly and Charlotte Cardwell and Claire Holmes, both 15, who somehow managed to take part in evening dress and high heels.
