VISITORS to Nelson on Saturday had a tasty time at the town's third annual food festival.
The event saw the launch of the Pendle Pie created by Lancashire Celebrity Chef Paul Heathcote and cooked by local bakers Philip and Andrew Bannister.
The festival was bigger and better than ever, with more food stalls from around the region and a farmers' market, only recently returned following the foot and mouth crisis.
There was also a competition to pick out the best Lancashire cheese from eleven different varieties.
Entertainment was provided by the Bourbon Street Roof Raisers, face painting and prize competitions.
