A CHEF has flown in from Switzerland to help cook up some culinary delights for the people of Hyndburn.
Murray Robinson, 31, has been appointed head chef at The Albion, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors.
Murray was born in Burnley but moved to Switzerland at an early age and came back to his roots just five years ago to travel around England.
Murray is living on a barge near the pub expects to move into the pub in the next few weeks.
It is the first time landlord John Burke has served food to the public since he took over the pub three years ago.
John said: "Murray has been with us for nearly six weeks and customers seem really impressed with his cooking. Word of mouth has already brought in new customers to try out his dishes, it is a move that we should have tried earlier because it has taken off really well."
Food is served Thursday to Sunday from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday and Friday and from noon to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
