AN entertainment venue has re-opened under new management with a massive re-vamp to help draw in the punters.
Marigolds on The Green, Darwen was formerly open just for functions for private parties but is now going to open to the public for live entertainment on a regular basis.
Mark Hilton, 28, formerly of Leyland has been appointed the new manager and is looking forward to inviting people into the new-look premises.
Mark said: "People have to see the place to believe how fantastic it actually is. The owners have spent £200,000 on fixtures and fittings for this place and I intend to utilise every penny of that.
"There has been no expense spared and I am confident that customers will love it as much as I do. The owners have been brilliant to work alongside and have put every effort in to help make it a success."
Mark will be stage a spectacular reopening evening on Saturday from 7pm and there will be a huge fire work display, a DJ, a live band, a buffet and a free pint of larger for the first 100 customers to walk through the doors.
The following Saturday, September 15 will be the start of the line-up of events to come with a cabaret night starting at 7pm with tickets available on the door.
