PEOPLE are preparing to be entertained at a show hosted by Darwen Library Theatre.
The one-man show -- Music Hall Variety and Me -- will be performed by the acclaimed entertainment comedian and producer Jack Seaton.
The show is all about tracing the history of music hall in the 20th century Britain and its emergence into the world of variety.
Mr Seaton is no stranger to the world of variety having worked with some of the variety "greats" such as Arthur Askey, Jimmy Jewell, Ralph Reader, Max Millar and many others, of whom he talks about with insight and affection in his show.
The show starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 27.
Tickets are £6.50 each and are £4.50 for concessions.
They are available from Darwen Library Theatre, Knott Street or by contacting 01254 706006.
