HAVING seen the £100,000 sculpture affixed to Blackburn Cathedral wall, I am unimpressed. This is not to decry the skill employed in its workmanship or its attempted symbolism.
However, as a humble practising Christian, I would prefer that the only adornment on a cathedral or church wall be that of The Cross. This would be of true relevance and in keeping with the real purpose of the cathedral.
D BULLEN (Mr), Albany Road, Blackburn.
