Lancashire quickly regained possession from the restart and stand off Matthew Walker scored a try on the stroke of half time, to make the score 9-12 to Rochdale.
The second half remained strongly contested until the 70th minute when Christian Julian again scored for Rochdale. Lancashire tried hard to fight back but were forced back again when winger Paul Day ran in a final try in the 76th minute.
All tries were converted apart from the final one. Final score Lancashire 9 - Rochdale 22.
At Under 14s Lancashire started by showing a strong defence and using good options in their attack. Half-time score 18-0 to Lancashire.
An error by Rochdale early on in the second half gave Lancashire wing Thomas Simpkins a try on 32 minutes. Heavy pressure by Rochdale was relieved by Michael Weardon breaking through the line to score under the posts.
Lancashire maintained their strong defence until the end when Rochdale's stand-off Brett Barnes scored in the corner.
Final score Lancashire 28 - Rochdale 4.
The under 12s showed a very promising start on their first outing after a little preparation. The game set off at a good strong pace with both sides battling for ascendancy. Good strong running from the forwards saw Scott Atkins go over for Lancashire's first try. Good hooker play started to give Lancashire the edge. Goals from Jamie Ellis and more tries from Scott Atkins, Michael Robinson and Jamie Baxter gave Lancashire victory.
A late try from Rochdale gave the game a more credible score line with the finishing score Lancashire 20 - Rochdale 6.
At Rochdale Lancashire Under 13 were too strong for Rochdale scoring a 42-1 victory. While Lancashire Under 15s lost 26-12.
