THE newly refurbished Sainsbury's store in Lancaster has reopened following a £2.5 million facelift.
The new store will stock an extra 500 new products and has led to the creation of 75 new jobs.
The week-long refurbishment has been carried out to create a new Food to Go counter, a Salad Kitchen, and an extended Taste the Difference range.
Store manager Paul Clapham said: "I'm looking forward to welcoming 75 new colleagues. Customers will be overwhelmed by the fantastic food offer and I'm sure they will be pleased with the new-look store as I am - there really is something for everyone!
