EXIT slip roads at junction four of the M65 near Darwen will be closed for essential maintenance for two weekends, starting from Friday.
The eastbound exit slip road to the A666 will be closed from 7pm on Friday to 6am on Monday. A clearly-signed diversion will operate via junction five.
The westbound slip road will be closed from 7pm on September 28 to 6am on October 1. A diversion will operate via junction three.
Highways Agency project manager, Alex Miller said: "We are carrying out this work at weekends to minimise disruption to traffic. The diversions will add only a few minutes to most journeys."
